La Castanyada

These last few weeks our 5th of primary students have been working on 'La Castanyada'. Concretely, they looked for some information on the internet such as: food, clothes and the history of this popular Catalan celebration. They drew some pictures of 'La Castanyada' and then they wrote a brief text including all the information found.

This week some of these pieces of work will be sent to our Scottish friends in Hamilton for them to learn more information about our traditions.

AUTUMN FRUITS

Last week our 3rd of primary students did some murals with autumn fruits drawings.

First, they learnt the names of several fruits that they normally eat in autumn, such as mushrooms, chestnuts, pumpkins, grapes, etc.

Second, they chose one of these fruits and individually they drew and coloured them.

Third, they glued their drawings on a big poster board with the names of each of the fruits.

Finally, some of the students were recorded giving a brief description of each fruit.

AUTUMN AND WINTER WORD SEARCH

Last week our 3rd of primary students prepared a fun activity for their eTwinning friends.

The activity consisted of creating a word search containing words and pictures related to autumn and winter.
